Eunna Oh works at the intersection of painting, photography, fiber art, and installation. Her work bridges the realms of imagination and reality, rooted in a profound reverence for both humanity and the natural world. She creates forest landscape artworks to explore the essential balance between humanity and nature, emphasizing the value of sustainable coexistence in an age of ecological crisis.

Born in Tongyeong, South Korea, Eunna immigrated to Canada in 2011 and is currently based in Treaty Six Territory (Edmonton, Alberta). She studied Fine Art at Sangmyung University and received her first MFA in Fiber Art from Hongik University in South Korea, where she completed a research project entitled “A Study on the Representation of the Forest as an Imaginary World.” She subsequently earned a second MFA in Painting from the University of Alberta, where she completed her thesis, “The Forest Where We Belong.”

Eunna has exhibited widely across South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and Canada in both private and public galleries, including the Hongik Contemporary Art Museum (Seoul, South Korea), TV Asahi UMU Art Space (Tokyo, Japan), the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada (Winnipeg, Canada) and the Art Gallery of St. Albert (St. Albert, Canada). From May to October 2026, she is a resident artist at the Yorath House Artist Studio, supported by the Edmonton Arts Council and the City of Edmonton.
